My personal why has always been about building a life bigger than what I had as a kid. Being able to offer my kids experiences and options that I didn’t have. To be in control of my finances; not be controlled by them. And to use money and influence as a foundation for spreading good in my community.
My professional why is about building a team and business that is a place where everyone can accomplish their professional goals to fuel their personal ambitions, built by a culture and community that thrives because of the group of people, not any one person.

I choose to support The Climate Reality Project because I think Global Warming and Climate Change matters more importantly than any issue we face as mankind. The troubling part is it’s not an issue we can address at the individual level with action alone. It’s an issue which will require changes in the largest private sectors such as the energy, transportation, and manufacturing. It will also require leadership and financial and tax support from the highest levels of government. And all of this must happen on a global scale. The only way this can happen is for the masses of humanity to call for change. There are only 2 ways I see unification around this topic. Either A) people become galvanized in their realization of the truth in the science and the inevitable future we are destined for without change, or B) life on earth becomes so unraveled at the seams that great global tragedy befalls mankind, thereby forcing reality upon us. My fear is the latter option is the more likely option we will choose. My hope is the prior option is still on the table. And for that hope, I support and advocate for the Climate Reality Project.
